Ethics education as a mix of projects, hackathons, essays, and exams. It shall be taken seriously.
Allocating a mere fraction of the curriculum to ethical discourse—such as one lecture in a series of ten—inevitably diminishes its significance. The weight assigned to ethics by educators is directly proportional to the importance students will accord it. It is imperative that ethics be seamlessly woven into the fabric of scientific seminars, not as an isolated subject but as an integral component of the core curriculum. This integration ensures that students comprehend the necessity of ethical considerations alongside technological proficiency. To truly embed ethics within the academic consciousness, it must be granted ample space in the curriculum and be a decisive element in evaluations, whether in hackathons, written examinations, or other assessment forms.
